Landscape
Whether you want to maintain a formal native landscape, a foraging garden, rewild your yard, or need a design for infrastructure like a rain garden we got you!
Garden clean ups, weeding, transplanting, cleaning rain garden drainage ways, mulching, etc. Whether you want it monthly or just to get you back on track for the season.
Forestry
Walk your property, meet about goals, and discuss ways to get there. Learn how to manage your property, what to look for to create good habitat, and learn about local resources to get you started.
Planting edge shrubs, seeding prairie or glade mixes, planting trees post harvest, etc.
Selectively thinning woodlands to create better forest structure, diversify habitat, and promote desirable seedling regeneration, and invasive species management. We do not clear your forest of everything but oak trees and leave a monoculture of even aged oaks ready for harvest. We do FSI to help restore biodiversity in degraded woodlands.
Arborist Work
Ask an ISA Arborist & Missouri Consulting Forester about what to do with your trees.
Community Fun!
Book us for a plant walk at your music festival, event, or privately. Check out our events tab for upcoming walks!
Book us for a nature class! We have done cordage, cyano-typing, basket weaving, and more for a variety of hosts.
Learn what’s on your property and how to use it. We can mark, craft, cook, collect, based on what you want to learn.
Programs
We install native edible gardens for trade. Negotiations for crop share, land use for our classes, resource collection for wild weaving classes etc as payment. Great for low income and seniors. Must be willing to be actively connected to others in the group and be a resource for other group members. The goal is to create a web of food production based in community. Everyone supports each other and when food is scarce or abundant share the harvest amongst one another creating long term sustainable food security.
Sign up to get connected to local foragers and landowners who have invasive species they want eaten and eradicated!
