Wildscapes was founded in 2023 after we saw a need in the community for ecology driven landscaping. We blend our unique knowledge of foraging, ecology, and horticulture to create a landscape specially designed for your needs. We strive to create habitat you and your wildlife will love!

Wildscapes is a different type of landscape company. We spend a lot of time on Education and Training for our crew to maintain up to date and cutting edge Best Management Practices for your landscape. We use science to determine how to achieve your goals, not your wallet.

FOUNDER- Katy Henson

I grew up running wild in the woods of southern Wisconsin and working on a dairy farm. From the moment I gained sentience, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to the earth. I pursued a Bachelors in Horticulture and a Minor in Forestry at MSU. I took advantage of my degree and gained professional experience in market gardening, herbarium work, traditional landscaping, forestry consulting, custom soil mixing, foraging, and habitat surveys for utility companies. I noticed that I didn’t quite fit completely into any of these industries, so I decided to create my own path in 2023 and start Wildscapes.

When I am not working on Wildscapes, you can find me reading books, carving bones, or taking my dogs on an adventure!
